PIERWSZY DZIEŃ MOBILNOŚCI ERASMUS+ W POZNANIU !

Pierwszy dzień obejmował integrację, warsztaty upcyklingowe, prezentację szkoły i polskiego systemu kształcenia zawodowego oraz uroczyste sadzenie drzew - symbolu trwałej współpracy i troski o środowisko. Uczniowie wykonali również zawieszki z materiałów pochodzących z recyklingu, a przy posadzonych drzewach umieścili przygotowane metodą upcyklingu tabliczki krajów partnerskich. Dzień zakończyliśmy przejazdem zabytkowym tramwajem po Poznaniu w ramach działania „Green Mobility in Practice”, poznając ekologiczny transport miejski i przykłady upcyklingu w przestrzeni miasta.

DRUGI DZIEŃ MOBILNOŚCI ERASMUS+ W POZNANIU !

Dzień rozpoczęliśmy od podsumowania najważniejszych wydarzeń i wrażeń z pierwszego dnia spotkania. Następnie uczniowie wzięli udział w warsztatach upcyklingowych „A Tire's Second Life”, podczas których nadawali zużytym oponom drugie życie, tworząc z nich oryginalne siedziska. Zajęcia pozwoliły im rozwijać kreatywność, współpracę i świadomość ekologiczną poprzez praktyczne wykorzystanie materiałów odpadowych.

Następnie uczestnicy obejrzeli wyjątkowy pokaz mody „The Pattern Reborn”, przygotowany przez Zespół Szkół Odzieżowych. Kolejnym punktem programu było odkrywanie dziedzictwa kulturowego Poznania w ramach działania „Green Mobility in Practice”. Uczestnicy odwiedzili Stary Rynek, poznali historię poznańskich koziołków i rogali świętomarcińskich, przeszli ulicą Półwiejską oraz zobaczyli Stary Browar jako przykład udanej rewitalizacji przestrzeni miejskiej. Dzień zakończyliśmy pożegnalną kolacją i wymianą doświadczeń. Był to czas pełen kreatywności, inspirujących spotkań, współpracy między szkołami i wspólnych działań na rzecz bardziej zrównoważonej przyszłości.

ERASMUS+ · PROJECT DISSEMINATION

Erasmus+ Mobility 'Upcycling Patterns' in Poznań

28 September - 2 October 2026 · Zespół Szkół Samochodowych in Poznań

From 28 September to 2 October 2026, Zespół Szkół Samochodowych in Poznań hosted participants in an international mobility activity organised as part of the Erasmus+ project 'Upcycling Patterns - Turning Waste into Creativity and Sustainable Design'. The meeting brought together students and teachers from Poland, Türkiye, North Macedonia and Lithuania.

The main objectives of the mobility were to develop environmental awareness, promote upcycling and sustainable transport, explore the heritage of the Wielkopolska region, and strengthen international cooperation and intercultural competences.

INTEGRATION AND THE OPENING OF THE MOBILITY

Following the official welcome, participants were introduced to the mobility programme and to the upcycling activities carried out by students of Zespół Szkół Samochodowych. The young people were divided into international teams and took part in integration activities designed to support cooperation, intercultural communication and relationship building. Teachers participated in an organisational meeting devoted to the mobility objectives, safety, methods of cooperation and project evaluation. The guests also toured the school, learned about its educational and vocational training facilities, and received an overview of the Polish vocational education system and environmental education.

UPCYCLING IN PRACTICE

Upcycling workshops were among the key elements of the programme. Students created handmade keychain pendants from recycled materials, developing their creativity and learning how waste can be used in practical ways. During the workshop entitled 'A Tire's Second Life', participants gave used tyres a new purpose by turning them into original seats. Working in international teams allowed them to combine environmental education with vocational skills, cooperation and creative problem-solving. In Biskupin, participants also took part in craft workshops inspired by the reuse of materials. They made clay vessels and wire decorations, combining traditional techniques with a creative approach to upcycling.

TREES AS A SYMBOL OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

A tree-planting ceremony entitled 'A Living Legacy of the Upcycling Patterns Project' was held on the grounds of Zespół Szkół Samochodowych. Representatives of the partner countries planted trees as symbols of lasting cooperation, care for the environment and shared responsibility for the future. Upcycled markers displaying the names of the partner countries were placed beside the newly planted trees. Together, the trees and markers created a lasting reminder of the international meeting and the participants' commitment to the project's objectives.

'GREEN MOBILITY IN PRACTICE'

An important part of the mobility consisted of activities organised under the theme 'Green Mobility in Practice', promoting public transport and responsible travel around the city. Participants toured Poznań on a historic tram while observing examples of upcycling and sustainable development in the urban environment. While exploring Poznań, they discovered important elements of the city's cultural heritage, including the Old Market Square, the Poznań Goats and the tradition of St Martin's croissants. They also walked along Półwiejska Street and visited Stary Browar, an example of the successful revitalisation of a former industrial site and its transformation into a social and cultural space.

THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF WIELKOPOLSKA

The mobility programme included an educational visit to the Archaeological Museum in Biskupin. Participants learned about the history and cultural heritage of the region while connecting their experiences with environmental education, traditional crafts and the responsible use of resources. Another important part of the programme was a visit to the botanical park at 'Siedem Drzew'. Contact with nature inspired discussions about environmental education, the protection of local heritage and sustainable lifestyles.

'THE PATTERN REBORN' - AN UPCYCLING FASHION SHOW

A highlight of the mobility was 'The Pattern Reborn', a fashion show prepared by Zespół Szkół Odzieżowych. The designs demonstrated that unwanted and forgotten materials can be given a new life through the imagination, skills and creativity of young people. The show was also an inspiring example of cooperation between schools in Poznań and of how vocational education can be combined with the principles of sustainable development.

SUMMARY AND FURTHER COOPERATION

Photographs and recordings made during the mobility were used to create a presentation summarising its most important activities, which all participants watched together. The teachers discussed the organisation of the next project meeting in Lithuania and planned follow-up activities after the mobility in Poland, including evaluation and analysis of the results.

DURING THE CLOSING CEREMONY, PARTICIPANTS RECEIVED CERTIFICATES AND COMMEMORATIVE GIFTS. THE MOBILITY CONCLUDED WITH A FAREWELL DINNER AND AN INFORMAL EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCES.

The meeting in Poznań was a time of creative work, growing environmental awareness, discovering regional heritage and building international relationships. It also demonstrated that vocational education, cooperation between schools and responsibility for the environment can jointly inspire young people to create a more sustainable future.

We would like to thank all students, teachers, partner schools and everyone involved in preparing and delivering the mobility for their fruitful cooperation, the time spent together and the unforgettable experiences.
